At Typified, we’re pretty excited about this development with a couple of caveats. A room full of screens and attention-seeking smart appliances could very quickly become a stimulation soup and take away from that relaxing ‘home’ feeling.
We’re more interested in designing products which add to the design of your home, whilst unobtrusively taking care of something for you.
Our goal with the updating weather poster is a piece of design you enjoy being around, which also tells you the day’s weather at a glance, and is discrete enough for you to read a book next to. Completely free of the nagging stimulation synonymous with screens and beepy electronics.
